Hi. I’m Tim.
I’ve been working on my writing habit for over four months now.
I’ve been writing about things that interest me. (How else are you supposed to stay motivated to do it?)
So topics tend to range from personal development and growth, personal finance, and marketing and copywriting.
This is my first real post to the world that isn’t just a brain dump.
So why go public with it? Accountability. Community. Motivation.
But more than that, I realize one way I learn more deeply is by teaching. So as I’m learning and tackling different aspects of my life, I’m logging the details as I go.
So what kinds of posts can you expect?
As I mentioned I’ve got a passion for personal development. I love to learn and to grow. This passion has taken me from hitting reset on my career, going back to school for something completely out of my comfort zone and turning that into a career making pretty decent money.
I buy into lifelong learning, so I’m still learning. Learning to learn. Developing habits. Productivity. Managing my money. Copywriting, Marketing. Analytics.
My examples are likely to get applied to my day job – a sales operations analyst. Or they may be about what I’m learning about marketing and copywriting in my spare time.
You should also expect to see posts daily. My plan is to work on daily emails so that I’m more accountable to myself and action. That also means they’re likely to be short and sweet.
Daily also has another advantage for me that I came across studying one of my copywriting mentors.
Everything’s an email. But what he’s really saying is everything has a lesson in it. I don’t necessarily see the lesson in everything yet, but continuing to publish daily and interact with likeminded individuals is a great place to start.
Eventually I’ll have products or services that I’m ready to sell, so this will also be the foundation for that.
I believe in being transparent about all of it so you know what to expect, and it ups the challenge for myself. I want what I’m doing to be valuable enough that even though I’m telling you there’s something to buy, it’s still worth you being involved.
If it’s not, let me know. Write me back. Let’s chat.
I don’t even have a way to subscribe to my emails on the site yet, but when I do – check the sidebar. I’m pretty sure that’s where I’ll drop it.
If not, just reach out to me through a contact page or email me at [email protected] I read everything and do my best to keep the convo going.
